Last Friday, October 30th was my birthday and I wanted to spend a day at least .... tranqui the beginning it was not. I woke up thanks to the tremendous noise of a beam that fell so close that broke my sleep instantly. A horrible day but which already had some plans, such as Lotus go at night to see Boomerang.
And if it is what happens to me ... on my birthday makes me want to get out (of course like other days not quack), and then so after some caliburatos evening we headed to the bowling and there await the show.
Boomerang is presenting their second album hit the market a while ago, "Complicated."
As
says Federico Bardier critical in Freeway:

That statement sums up much of the album and fits perfect with the day he did that Friday 30. The show itself was very enjoyable, these tunes sound great live and you're stuck in the ear, head, are catchy and yet also have a different depth than the first album. Everything is in place and it shows a maturity in terms of previous work. There are songs that have that touch almost epic say as the very subject of "Complicated", "The storm" or "The Ruffians."

October 17 Waikiki called Party featuring mileuristas from Argentina and the local band friend, Soundays . First came
mileuristas , the band of Buenos Aires, as to warm the night.
A band with great guitar sounded good despite the sound of Living. Nice themes and some arrangements that I found interesting. Overall a nice show, and as a letter of introduction from the band: attitude. Plenty of attitude to bring the issues yet, one thing that I find it always pays.


Second on the night shift: Soundays who is introducing new ep.
This new ep is called "Olha! and they can also be downloaded directly from the new page www.soundays.com .
The themes of this new ep sounded good, I repeat ... despite the acoustics of the place, that energy generated by the issues I think it's impossible not spreading. These are issues that minimally do you move your head, these guitars sound sharp and arranged within the rock spectrum that characterizes the band.

August 29 Old History played the third and last day of their cycle called "Holy trinity" in The Daily coffee.
A beautiful night in the summer and winter still in the city of Montevideo, which was paid to listen to good music together with some good beers. Old
History comes to take some work after their first album called "Album". They released a single called "Reel" and a fully self-produced EP of six songs called "Home" which even has already submitted in the room Zitarrosa. All this material it can be downloaded from its Web .
The show: strong. A band that every time I notice more oil in its walk and he really sounds great. The band has definitely won and marked their profile. That rock that comes and goes with folk and harmonica and that does not stop ... unless for some temita slower yes, but not stopped. Testament to the video I recorded the song "Perfume" if I remember correctly. A climate with lots of rhythm that stands out in the scene.

On Friday night August 28 BEYOND high in the daily cafe near Old Town, HERE in Montevideo.
They played in the following order: Solitary , Volcanoes and asleep at the wheel.

To start the night the pair came Loners, Emilio Acosta and Martin Rivero. Emilio known for many things as his solo work, the lucky winners and their projections, and Martin by Astroboy or solo tracks.
presented several topics very good, according to some extent with the likes of his earlier works, many pop melodies with a touch of folk and more. Each one with his guitar slung over arrangements drawn with precise percussion notebook, which gives them certain characteristic touch to the songs too. But what ends up defining these songs are those voices in English no doubt enhance subjects that already own are good. With that said, a good presentation, solid, and nice to hear issues.


Then it was the turn of the Volcanoes, which dispense more than one member who temporarily replaced by someone who at this point in the night and did not see who it was, left the ring with great gusto and great polenta. On Thursday, August 6 Decibels Boomerang was presented for the first time after the release of his brand new album, "Complicated." The show apart from the new issues had some other acquaintances of his last album, a show more than good on a chilly Thursday night.
And as I have no more desire to write, I leave the press release that describes everything much more beautiful and better:
Complicated is the second album Boomerang, in 2005 the band was surprised with Premiere, his debut.
With the experience of having gone through various stages of Uruguay, with sporadic but intense presence in Argentina, Complicated brings a handful of songs that put a toll on the soundtrack to the end of the decade. The imminence of the 'year 10' of this century finds the band in a growth stage aesthetic, for confirmation of his own musical path, as shown by the eleven songs disc.
From Montevideo, his hometown, Boomerang offers a journey deep through the different moods that pass these times: songs inspired by the spirit brit more melodic, tunes to rock in a style unmistakably River Plate, memorable choruses, damn pop a poetry which, without stiff, matured from the visceral debut with the previous album.
disc production was led by Mariano Esain, with direct participation of members of the band Gonzalo Zipitría on vocals and guitar, Paul Mendoza on bass, Nicolas Rodriguez on drums, Martin Sanjinés Alvaro Sanchez on guitar and keyboards. Volcanoes is a new band with a peculiar mix of its members achieve a particular sound and finding their own sound. Presented in decibels on 23 July, and stuck around to see them live.
